[ 01 ]About these terms

This is a starter template for event-planning services provided by On My Show Events in Lucknow. It is not an approved contract and does not replace a written agreement for your event. Please ask us for the agreed booking terms before paying.

The final booking agreement should identify the client, event, services and responsibilities. If that agreement differs from these general terms, its specific provisions apply, subject to applicable law and your statutory rights.

[ 02 ]Bookings & quotes

An enquiry or estimate does not reserve a date, venue or artiste. A booking is confirmed only when we accept it in writing and receive any agreed advance payment.

Your quote should state the event date and location, scope, guest numbers, inclusions, exclusions, taxes, validity period and payment schedule. Prices and availability may change before confirmation. Additional work or changes need your written approval, including any extra cost.

[ 03 ]Payments & deposits

The deposit amount, balance payments and due dates must be set out in your accepted quote or booking agreement. This template does not set a standard deposit percentage or payment deadline.

Pay only through a payment method confirmed by us and keep your receipt. An advance may be used for approved supplier reservations and planning work. If a payment is overdue, we will contact you about the impact on delivery before suspending services or cancelling, subject to the agreement and applicable law.

[ 04 ]Cancellations & refunds

Send any cancellation request in writing using the contact details below. The cancellation date is the date we receive your request; ask for written acknowledgement.

Any cancellation charges must follow the agreed terms and applicable law. They should account for work already completed and disclosed, non-recoverable supplier commitments. We will explain deductions and confirm any refund and its expected payment date in writing; this template makes no blanket claim that every deposit is non-refundable.

If we cancel for a reason within our control, we will discuss suitable alternatives or a refund for undelivered services, subject to the contract and your legal rights.

[ 05 ]Rescheduling & changes

A date or venue change depends on team and supplier availability. Tell us as soon as possible so we can review options before new commitments are made.

We will confirm the revised scope, price, treatment of payments already made and any supplier charges in writing. A new date is secured only after both parties accept the changes. If rescheduling cannot be agreed, the cancellation terms apply, subject to law.

[ 06 ]Vendors & third parties

Venues, caterers, artistes, accommodation providers and other suppliers may have separate contracts and booking conditions. Your quote should explain which services we supply, which we arrange for you, and which you book directly.

We will share relevant supplier terms before you approve a commitment. Substitutions affecting the agreed service need discussion and written approval. Each party remains responsible for its own obligations; engaging a vendor does not remove any responsibility we have under the booking agreement or law.

[ 07 ]Your responsibilities

Provide accurate event details, an authorised decision-maker, timely approvals, and agreed access to the venue. Let us know about venue restrictions, accessibility needs and safety requirements early.

The agreement should allocate responsibility for permits, licences, music permissions, venue approvals and insurance. Do not assume they are included unless listed. You are responsible for permissions for material or personal information you supply and for reasonable cooperation on guest safety. Any damage or additional cost must be assessed fairly under the agreement and law.

[ 08 ]Liability & events beyond our control

We will use reasonable care and skill in delivering the agreed services. Any liability limits must be reasonable, clearly agreed in writing and permitted by law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies or other events genuinely beyond reasonable control may prevent delivery. The affected party should notify the other promptly and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact.

We will discuss a revised plan, rescheduling or cancellation, and explain how completed work, unavoidable costs and any refundable balance will be treated. These events do not automatically make all payments non-refundable.

[ 09 ]Governing law & disputes

The final agreement is governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern directly.

Subject to mandatory law and any legally available consumer forum or other remedy, disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This clause does not take away a right to approach another authority or forum where the law permits it.

[ 10 ]Questions & contact

Ask us to confirm any unclear term before booking. Changes to a confirmed booking should be recorded in writing; later website updates do not automatically change your agreed contract.
